I can't reproduce either. You can upload a small video file to this bug
tracker.
Ideally, a script to reproduce the error would be good, minimized from
your original.
I was simply trying,
#!/bin/bash
rm pdf_2 ; mv pdf_3 pdf_2
And didn't see incorrect previews.
