Public bug reported:
I am experiencing a bug where the application search fails to show
installed local applications after the screen is locked or turned off.
Steps to reproduce:
Lock the system screen using the Super + L shortcut (or let the screen
turn off automatically).
Wake up the system and unlock the screen.
Press the Super key to open the Activities overview / search bar.
Type the name of an installed application (e.g., "visual studio").
Expected behavior:
The search bar should immediately display the installed application's icon so
it can be launched.
Actual behavior:
No local application results are shown at all. As seen in my screenshot, the
search only displays a prompt to "Search online" via Google Chrome.
