Public bug reported:
Since I have updated to Ubuntu 26.04 using the 7.0.0-## kernel I have
had issues on all gaming and it is apparent during certain demanding
non-gaming tasks. The issue is that during gaming where it is most
noticeable I receive a momentary lag or stuttering that occurs, it isn't
at a noticeable frequency (it appears to be random when it happens but
at least once every 2 or 3 minutes). Now to resolve this I use the
Mainline Kernels and currently using 7.0.12 but have used 7.0.3, 7.0.4,
7.0.6 and 7.0.9 and all have worked without issue so it is something
specific to the 7.0.0 kernel.
I would rather stay on the LTS kernel since there is better
compatibility with kernels that have had extensive testing vs one that
was compiled against the current build. This issue has been there since
release day. Please fix.
