Public bug reported:
Hello Ubuntu team,
Commit 6c17bc26fbc1c ("NFS: Fix a deadlock involving
nfs_release_folio()"), added in noble linux 6.8.0-117.117, adds a new
function nfs_wb_folio_reclaim(), but does not use it - I can't see usage
of this function on tag Ubuntu-6.8.0-130.130. Upstream commit and its
backport to 6.6
https://lore.kernel.org/all/[email protected]/
both use the symbol, which look like the correct thing to do.
This was found during manual review, unfortunately I don't have a
reproducer for this (testing it seems complex according to
https://lore.kernel.org/all/[email protected]/).
I hope my analysis is correct, and is helpful to you/
