Issue description:
Ubuntu Desktop fails to boot after kernel update to 6.17.0-35-generic.
Booting gets stuck with a black screen with a blinking cursor. Issue
likely related to NVIDIA graphics, driver version 595.58.03.
Attempted to boot 6.17.0-35 multiple times, repeated issue with black
screen and blinking cursor.
Able to boot successfully with previous kernel 6.17.0-29.
Expect to happen:
Able to boot OS into GUI.
Happens instead:
OS gets stuck at boot.
