I have a similar but different mouse problem. Install gutsy from 32 bit ISO file and no mouse control. It was okay with win98 and Xandros. I repeated with edgy and got edgy up and running did the updates followed by system upgrade to Feisty and bingo no mouse. I'll try alt tab and thanks if that works.
