Public bug reported: Environment: OS: Ubuntu 26.04 LTS (with Unity Desktop Environment) Window Manager: Compiz (X11 session) Applications: Google Chrome Beta, Microsoft Edge (latest Chromium stack)
Bug Description: When running Chromium-based browsers on Ubuntu 26.04 Unity, the window control buttons (minimize, maximize, close) and the window title bar disappear entirely when the window is in windowed (unmaximized) mode. Crucially, the buttons do not disappear instantly. When the browser is first launched in a window, the decorations and controls are fully visible. However, after a short delay or after interacting with the UI (such as switching tabs or changing focus), the window decorations are suddenly stripped away, leaving the window completely "naked". It is fixed in latest version gtk-nocsd, issue https://codeberg.org/MorsMortium/GTK-NoCSD/issues/67 please update to latest and push to repositories ** Affects: gtk-nocsd (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/2158965 Title: Chromium-based browsers (Chrome Beta, Edge) lose window decorations To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/gtk-nocsd/+bug/2158965/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
