Verified on both questing and resolute.

## Questing

```
$ apt list --installed fwupd
fwupd/questing-proposed,now 2.0.20-1ubuntu2~25.10.2 amd64 [installed,automatic]
```
Hitting CTRL+D during the request for the recovery key, leads to the GLib
error, as described.

Updating to proposed:
```
$ apt list --installed fwupd
fwupd/questing-proposed,now 2.0.20-1ubuntu2~25.10.3 amd64 [installed,automatic]
```
Hitting CTRL+D during this prompt jumps to the next update in line (in my test
setup 2 updates happen, UEFI CA and DBX). There is no clear messaging that it
is skipped.

## Resolute

```
$ apt list --installed fwupd
fwupd/resolute,now 2.1.1-1ubuntu3 amd64 [installed,automatic]
```
Hitting CTRL+D yields the following error:
```
(fwupdmgr:4463): GLib-CRITICAL **: 12:10:01.427: g_propagate_error: assertion
'src != NULL' failed
**
GLib:ERROR:../../../glib/gerror.c:681:g_propagate_prefixed_error: assertion
failed: (*dest != NULL)
Bail out! GLib:ERROR:../../../glib/gerror.c:681:g_propagate_prefixed_error:
assertion failed: (*dest != NULL)
Aborted                    (core dumped) sudo fwupdmgr update
```

After updating to proposed
```
$ apt list --installed fwupd
fwupd/resolute-proposed,now 2.1.1-1ubuntu3.1 amd64 [installed,automatic]
```
hitting CTRL+D just skips and goes to the next available update. Same behavior
as in Questing.
