** Description changed: [ Impact ] Some bug reports like bug #2147517 have an attachment with double file extension: CurrentDmesg.txt.txt [ Test Plan ] Besides the autopkgtest test coverage: Report a bug against the update-manager or ubuntu-release-upgrader package. The bug should have an attachment named CurrentDmesg.txt instead of CurrentDmesg.txt.txt + APPORT_LAUNCHPAD_INSTANCE=qastaging apport-cli update-manager + [ Where problems could occur ] The change is in the code that handles submitting problem reports to Launchpad. It could affect reporting bugs against Ubuntu and could cause breaking retracing them. [ Other Info ] This SRU addresses a big number of bugs, because it addresses the several bugs that causes the autopkgtest to fail or fail under certain conditions. I also bundled the fixes around reporting/retracing the bugs reports that we found after modernizing the retracing infrastructure.
