For Hardy that probably should be pm-utils then instead. My question for mjg59 tomorrow is: Should the kernel handle my laptop case properly or is my laptop buggy and need a /usr/share/hal/fdi/information/10freedesktop/20-video-quirk-pm- toshiba.fdi quirk entry. It did work in Gutsy out of the box but that was using the old style of suspend/resume. So if it needs an entry that means that there are an unknown number of Gutsy users whose laptops suspend may break when upgrading to Hardy... So we will need to push extra hard for testing on laptops before Hardy release.
