This bug was fixed in the package valgrind - 1:3.27.1-0.1ubuntu1
---------------
valgrind (1:3.27.1-0.1ubuntu1) stonking; urgency=medium
* Merge with Debian unstable (Closes LP: #2160216). Remaining changes:
- d/rules:
+ LTO triggers undefined symbols in valgrind. Valgrind has a --enable-lto
configure time option, but that doesn't seem to help. Disable LTO for
now
+ dh_missing --fail-missing use --fail-missing so we do not overlook not
installed files
+ Configure --with-gdbscripts-dir=/usr/share/gdb/auto-load.
+ Configure with --enable-only64bit on AArch64.
- d/patches:
+ armv7-illegal-opcode.patch
fix a crash due to an unhandled thumb instruction on armhf.
+ Add adjust_armhf_cases.patch to focus on armhf options in
configure.ac that are supported by Ubuntu (armv7t2+) and get rid of
the armv6 case, that is causing build issues (due to fp).
+ drop armhf_neon.patch as it conflicts with
d/p/adjust_armhf_case.patch.
+ delete 14_fix-armhf-ftbfs
Patch introduced in Debian for arm FTBFS. Ubuntu arm handling has
diverged from upstream making the patch incompatible.
- d/t/control:
+ Use gnutrue for the smoketest
Soon, true will be rust-coreutils variant by default. rust-coreutils
has an integrated patch
"require-utility-to-be-invoked-at-matching-path.patch" that forces an
invoked binary to match its name, which conflicts with valgrind and
makes valgrind /usr/lib/cargo/bin/coreutils/true crash with an error.
valgrind (1:3.27.1-0.1) unstable; urgency=medium
* Non-maintainer upload.
* d/u/signing-key.asc: refreshed
* New upstream version 3.27.1
- Rebased patches
* d/copyright: heavy refresh
* d/control:
- Add a Recommends on debuginfod (Closes: #1103846)
- Bump Standards-Version to 4.7.3
