Hello mates,
Since the 7.0.0-28 kernel update, my Lenovo P14s gen6 (AMD Ryzen) no
longer shuts down or reboots. The screen goes black, the keyboard stops
responding, but the fans and power LED remain active — I have to force a
shutdown using the power button. The issue does not occur when I
manually boot into the previous kernel (7.0.0-27).
I isolated the issue through extensive testing, and I can confirm that
the problem comes exclusively from the kernel failing to transmit the
shutdown command.
Feel free to reach out if you'd like me to run any additional tests.
