This bug was fixed in the package gnome-shell - 51~alpha-0ubuntu3
---------------
gnome-shell (51~alpha-0ubuntu3) stonking; urgency=medium
* Reinstate debian/Revert-tests-Fail-on-warnings-too.patch because CI
is a noisier more fragile environment than a desktop.
gnome-shell (51~alpha-0ubuntu2) stonking; urgency=medium
* Add some breaks on extensions to put the brakes on too rapid a
transition, even if unlikely.
gnome-shell (51~alpha-0ubuntu1) stonking; urgency=medium
* New upstream release 51.alpha

* Binary package 'gnome-shell-extension-prefs' has been removed and
relocated to upstream project 'gnome-extensions-app'.
* Drop patch debian/Revert-tests-Fail-on-warnings-too.patch because it's
it's good to fail sooner, but also counterintuitively it was causing
additional test failures (closeWithActiveWindows) as warnings on shutdown
were no longer fatal it was allowed to progress to a critical instead
(Object ... already disposed) which is *more* fatal than a warning on
shutdown. This is an upstream bug but it also doesn't happen upstream
without the Debian patch so we shouldn't be reintroducing the bug in
Debian.
