I tried using the latest mainline kernel (7.2.0-070200rc4-generic).
Sound works with it, no problem. I used `apport-collect 2159594` to
collect info, but it didn't upload much (see above - warned me that I'm
running a mainline kernel)... I'm happy to upload more logs, if you have
something specific in mind.
