I also created an Intel Nehalem VM using qemu. Here is a screen capture showing how the ghostty in resolute fails to launch on Nehalem (which has no AVX); enabling resolute-proposed and installing the updated package (1.3.0~us1-0ubuntu1.1) resolves the issue.
