Same issue here after a fresh installation of Kubuntu 26.04 on Lenovo
Ideapad s510p laptop with Qualcomm Atheros QCA9565 / AR9565 Wireless
Network Adapter using ath9k driver.

Symptoms :
- The Wi-Fi connection is established but drops after around 40 seconds, then
is reconnects around 10 seconds later. This cycle repeats endlessly

Environment :
- I’ve got the same issue on two different Wi-Fi networks
- The same computer on the same networks was working perfectly fine with
Kubuntu 25.10
- All the other devices connected to these networks work fine, including
another computer running Kubuntu 26.10

Tests done so far :
- I’ve tried deactivating the energy saver (wifi.powersave=2 instead of 3 in
/etc/NetworkManager/conf.d/default-wifi-powersave-on.conf)
- I’ve reinstalled Kubuntu 25.10 to confirm that this is not an hardware issue
- I’ve upgraded from a working Kubuntu 25.10 to 26.10, to see if it makes a
difference compared to a fresh installation of 26.10

Workaround :
- I’ve noticed that when I deactivate the Bluetooth, the Wi-Fi stops
disconnecting.

Side note :
- I've also noticed that at the very first connection, the network manager
tells me that the password is wrong, then prompt again for the password. I
paste the exact same password and it is accepted... This does not happen again
if I delete the Wi-Fi network and connect it again, it’s only at the very first
connection on each network, just after Kubuntu 26.10 installation. This does
not happen on Kubuntu 25.10. Not sure if there is any connection between the
two issues.

Any idea how to fix this Wi-Fi network dropping issue while keeping the
Bluetooth activated ?

Thanks !
