It looks like the '1:1snap1-0ubuntu10' Firefox deb was published to Stonking on 2026-06-09. I can confirm the fixed preinst script is in the 1:1snap1-0ubuntu10 deb package.
No new version, 1:1snap1-0ubuntu9 or 1:1snap1-0ubuntu10, has been published to either the resolute proposed or updates repos. https://launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/firefox/+publishinghistory Since the problem is with the deb scripts and not the snap itself the updated deb needs to be in the resolute repos for the issue to be resolved with the Subiquity autoinstall. Will an updated version of the deb be released to resolute-updates? Or will this be fixed in the upcoming 26.04.1 release? -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/2152888 Title: Firefox fails to install with Ubuntu subiquity autoinstall: preinst cannot create /dev/tty To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/firefox/+bug/2152888/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
