Thanks for reporting this bug.
I can't reproduce it in a fresh container. The error itself (failing to
invoke systemctl) may be transient - have you retried the upgrade? Does
a reboot solve the issue (to sort out possible upgrade leftovers)? Do
you have clear steps to trigger this bug?
