Your bug report mentions that you aren't able to test unsigned kernels,
but doing so would greatly help to identify if this problem has been
resolved in upstream Linux. If you can work around this limitation,
please follow this Ubuntu Wiki article and try the latest mainline
build: https://wiki.ubuntu.com/Kernel/MainlineBuilds.

Alternatively, if you can identify which prior kernel version did not
have this issue, we can narrow down when this issue was introduced.
