That last MP (which bumped it to `24.04.99`) has done it :) I built a GCE image using `livecd-rootfs` from `-proposed` and had it install the `linux-gcp-edge` (7.0 based) kernel via our build hooks (`cpc_packaging.extra`). Booted the image up and all looks well:
``` ubuntu@noble-7-0-edge-livecd-rootfs-proposed:~$ lsb_release -a No LSB modules are available. Distributor ID: Ubuntu Description: Ubuntu 24.04.4 LTS Release: 24.04 Codename: noble ubuntu@noble-7-0-edge-livecd-rootfs-proposed:~$ uname -r 7.0.0-1006-gcp ubuntu@noble-7-0-edge-livecd-rootfs-proposed:~$ snap debug seeding seeded: true preseeded: true image-preseeding: 8.56s seed-completion: 5.653s ``` Marking the bug as verified, thank you everyone! ** Tags removed: verification-needed-noble ** Tags added: verification-done-noble -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/2161121 Title: [SRU] Apparmor feature mismatch for the 7.0 kernel in noble To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/livecd-rootfs/+bug/2161121/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
