Description:
This is the qemu part of the solution to fix the indices which the kernel gets
from HW sysinfo.
Solution:
Make container ids in SysIB_15x 1-based
The required qemu fix (which went into qemu v11.1.0-rc0) is:
1f1ccb6f3c ("target/s390x: Make container ids in SysIB_15x 1-based")
Since the qemu problem was introduced with qemu v8.2.0, the affected
Ubuntu releases that need to be fixed are Ubuntu 24.04 and above.
Therefore, please apply the required qemu fix to
- Noble
- Resolute and
- Stonking
