Public bug reported:
When updating Snap packages through Discover, a root password is
required. This is inconsistent with how updates for Debian packages work
in Kubuntu 26.04; these do not require a root password.
Steps to reproduce:
1. Open Discover
2. Select "Updates"
3. Press "Update All" when Snap updates are present
Expected behavior:
No password is required
Actual behavior:
A password is required
