Partial verification on Ubuntu 26.04.1 LTS (arm64, server). Hardware: Pi 4 Model B Rev 1.4, revision d03114 (8GB), standard SDRAM variant. Regression check on existing hardware only, not verification of new-variant support.
Tested from resolute-proposed: rpi-eeprom 28.28-0ubuntu0.26.04.1, flashrom 1.6.0-2ubuntu1.1 (LP: #2160030). System otherwise fully updated. EEPROM 2026-01-09 before. Flashed 2026-02-23 via rpi-eeprom-update -f, no errors or warnings. Warm boot and cold boot (power removed) both successful, EEPROM reports 2026-02-23 after each. Not covered: no new-SDRAM board, no Pi 5, and neither rpiboot nor linux- firmware-raspi were in resolute-proposed at time of testing. Note that rpi-eeprom ships no 2711 images itself, so the updated Pi 4 firmware could not be tested; this covers the tooling only.
