Hello maintainers,
As ROCm version 7.14 onwards, on Ubuntu we are using src:llvm-toolchain-
rocm as the toolchain and device libs provider, this makes packages in
ROCm stack in Ubuntu to not even utilize src:rocm-llvm.
But debian still using src:rocm-llvm as they want to keep using upstream
llvm instead of amd fork.
So for the future of this package what should we decide, as short term I
think we should keep it as is since it is still being utilized in debian
and since there is no ubuntu suffix in the version this will still sync
and it shouldnt cause problem as src:llvm-toolchain-rocm uses -rocm
suffix for the packages it publishes (hipcc vs hipcc-rocm for example.)
But if you have ideas please share.
