Public bug reported:

In Stonking please remove src:isc-dhcp and all of its binaries. This
package has been dropped from Debian testing as of 2026-02-10 and
unstable as of 2026-08-05: https://tracker.debian.org/pkg/isc-dhcp

isc-dhcp fails to build in Ubuntu, and has done so for several releases now:
https://autopkgtest.ubuntu.com/packages/isc-dhcp
Because of this, removing isc-dhcp from Ubuntu will be good for archive health.

isc-dhcp has some reverse recommends, but no reverse dependencies:

~$ reverse-depends src:isc-dhcp
Reverse-Recommends
==================
* ifupdown                      (for isc-dhcp-client)
* ifupdown-ng                   (for isc-dhcp-client)
* madwimax                      (for isc-dhcp-client)

Packages without architectures listed are reverse-dependencies in:
amd64, amd64v3, arm64, armhf, ppc64el, riscv64, s390x

These reverse recommends all provide alternatives to isc-dhcp (and in the case
of madwimax, isc-dhcp is not even the first option).

This request is not limited to a specific architecture.

** Affects: isc-dhcp (Ubuntu)
     Importance: Undecided
         Status: New
