Please Use the current test kernel. Per cycle, for both slots:                  
                                                                                
                                                    
                                                                                
                                                                                
                                                  
1. Unplug both drives; confirm endpoints gone (lspci -D | grep 10000:0[23] 
shows nothing).
2. While slots are empty, issue the root-port reset:                            
                                                                                
                                             
        echo 1 > /sys/bus/pci/devices/10000:00:03.0/reset   # Slot 65           
                                                                                
                                                  
        echo 1 > /sys/bus/pci/devices/10000:00:05.0/reset   # Slot 66           
                                                                                
                                                  
3. Replug both drives; check nvme list — both must come back with namespaces.   
                                                                                
                                             
4. Repeat 3 cycles (same protocol as the runs that failed).
