Thanks for the bug report.

Please start by deleting all local extensions:

  cd ~/.local/share/gnome-shell/
  rm -rf extensions

and then log in again. This is the first thing to try because so many
bugs are caused by extensions which we don't support here.

Also extensions get asked to unload during screen lock, which is a
request and is not enforced. So it is likely some extension bugs are
triggered only when the screen locks.
