For comparison, I have similar display errors on another Panther Lake laptop, running CachyOS rather than Ubuntu.
The machine is a Lenovo 21XM0005CD with an Arc B370 (8086:b081, subsystem 17aa:513d). It has one internal 2880x1800 120 Hz panel. The panel make and model have not been collected. I use 7.2.2-1-cachyos, KWin 6.7.4 on Wayland and Mesa 26.2.2-arch3.2. The original problem was visible stutter when enabling VRR. With DSB enabled, the kernel logged 'DSB 0 poll error', and KWin logged 'atomic commit failed: Device or resource busy'. In a separate runtime test, I turned VRR off, changed DSB from Y to N, then turned VRR on again. DSB errors stopped, but the stutter did not improve. Later in that session the display became corrupted. The log contains plane 1A faults, followed by: CPU pipe A FIFO underrun Timed out waiting PSR idle state drm_WARN_ON(intel_dp->psr.active) The warning is in intel_psr_activate. The trace includes intel_psr_resume, intel_cx0pll_readout_hw_state, intel_modeset_verify_crtc and intel_atomic_commit_tail. I saved the log and rebooted. I cannot separate the effect of the runtime DSB change from the later corruption. PSR and Panel Replay were not disabled during this test. This is not a reproduction on Ubuntu or proof of the same root cause.
