When booting up into Kubuntu 26.04 on a Lenovo Laotop, the screen
remains black with a movable mouse pointer. I have used AI to
investigate as I am computer literate but no command line guru. The
command line "journalctl -b -1 -u sddm" gives the journalctl output
shows a repeating pattern: SDDM starts the greeter, the greeter crashes
with a "Process crashed" error, and SDDM restarts itself. This is often
related to a recent system update or a graphics driver issue, as similar
problems have been reported for other versions of Kubuntu and Linux
