Public bug reported:

Ubuntu release:
Ubuntu 26.04.1 LTS (resolute)

Affected package:
linux

Kernel versions:
- Broken: 7.0.0-31.31
- Working: 7.0.0-30.30

Hardware:
Lenovo ThinkPad T14 Gen 1, product 20XGS0K601
AMD Ryzen HD Audio Controller
AMD ACP3x audio coprocessor
Realtek ALC257 codec

Expected result:
The integrated digital microphone should be available and usable after booting
either installed kernel.

Actual result:
With kernel 7.0.0-31.31, the digital microphone disappears from PipeWire. Only
the analog microphone is available. WirePlumber reports:

Failed to create 'api.alsa.acp.device' device

With kernel 7.0.0-30.30 on the same machine, both Digital Microphone and
Stereo Microphone are available and the microphone works normally.

The regression is reproducible by booting the two kernels. No hardware
or mixer changes were made.
