gst-plugins-bad1.0 (1.28.6-1ubuntu1) stonking; urgency=medium
* Merge with Debian (LP: #2161854). Remaining changes:
- d/rules:
+ Disable LTO on ppc64el & s390x.
+ Enable Vulkan. Debian disables it over sdl3, which is not needed.
+ Disable examples. We ship none. -Dauto_features=enabled makes every
example dependency mandatory, sdl3 included. sdl3 is not in
Build-Depends, it only arrives via libfluidsynth-dev. Upstream MR
12030 confirms sdl3 is only used by tests/examples/vulkan.
- d/gbp.conf: Ubuntu VCS tags.
- Don't build wpewebkit plugins (gstreamer1.0-wpe).
- d/control, d/gstreamer1.0-plugins-bad.install, d/rules: Disable
unavailable features on i386
+ Don't require these Build-Depends on i386: libfreeaptx-dev,
liblrdf0-dev, libltc-dev, libneon27-dev, libopenni2-dev,
libqrencode-dev, libtensorflow-lite-dev, libvulkan-dev, and
libzxing-dev.
+ Disable ladspa, neon, openaptx, openni2, qroverlay, vulkan,
tflite, and hip on i386, since they're not built there for Ubuntu.
- d/tests/control: Skip build-and-test and gir1.2-gst-plugins-bad-1.0 on
i386. Ubuntu runs i386 autopkgtests in an amd64 testbed. No i386
pkg-config for meson, and amd64 python3-gi cannot load i386 typelibs.
- d/libgstreamer-plugins-bad1.0-0.install:
+ Stop installing basecamerabin, codecparsers, codecs, photography
and play - plugins which have moved to -extra.
+ d/rules: Remove these modules from the -bad package.
- plugins-extra split:
+ Introduce a new package containing a subset of -bad plugins
that will be included in Ubuntu main.
- libgstcamerabin, libgstcodecparsers, libgstcodecs,
libgstphotography, libgstplay
+ Have gstreamer1.0-plugins-bad depend on gstreamer1.0-plugins-extra.
+ Replace+Break gstreamer1.0-plugins-good versions where -bad
plugins were patched in.
+ libgstreamer-plugins-extra1.0-0.symbols: Add symbol file for the
new package.
+ d/rules: Manually move the remaining components from -bad into -extra.
+ d/tests/control: gir1.2-gst-plugins-bad-1.0 test now also depends on
gir1.2-gst-plugins-extra-1.0. It checks GstPlay, moved by the split.
- d/libgstreamer-plugins-extra1.0-0.symbols: drop spurious debian
revision parts from certain symbols.
- d/patches/series: Apply 0001_meson-vmaf_dep-missing-variable.patch.
Debian ships the file but does not list it, though both disable vmaf.
* d/rules: Drop a stale arch-conditional libgstnvcodec.so install. The linux
block already installs it, so on arm it ran twice. 'hurd' is not a
DEB_HOST_ARCH value. Debian reverted the change it came from, the revert
never reached our copy.
* d/patches/openssl4-dtls-bio-retry-read.patch: Drop. Fixed upstream in
1.28.6, Debian reverted its own copy in 1.28.6-1.
* Drop the opencv i386 item from Remaining changes. Debian excludes i386 from
both opencv binaries since 1.25.50-1 (3846b3df8e4). The arch lists have been
identical to ours since, so there was nothing left to carry.
* d/patches: Restore Debian's copies of four patches. gbp pq export had
rewritten them from Index:/=== into git-am form. No code change, 45 lines
of delta. All apply at fuzz 0.
