In my installation of Xfce on Ubuntu 26.04 with elementary-xfce-icon-
theme 0.22-1 installed only the following symlinks exist:

It is unclear to me where the extraneous symlinks on your system came
from.
Could you, please, provide a step by step instruction how to reproduce
the issue.
