I have a horrid feeling this is going to break things for people with smaller boot partitions as it's going to expand the size of the initrd by about 10MB ... again. Unfortunately there's very little I can do about that (generally).
On the plus side, it won't break people's boot due to the A/B facility on resolute. However, I'm anticipating there'll be some bug reports that piboot-try has fallen back to old boot assets and it'll be due to this.
