Thanks for logging this Kunal. Ubuntu 26.10 is past feature freeze. Looking at the changes, I don't see anything upstream that makes any significant changes. The upstream changes:
* Remove wmerrors.ini, only for Debian packaging (which is now in the Debian 2.1.0-1 version) * Fix string headers to support PHP 8.5+ -- the commit that lets us drop the patch * Remove PECL file -- dropping the deprecated upstream package management file I see no rdepends on php-wmerrors: apt-cache rdepends php-wmerrors php-wmerrors Reverse Depends: I double checked, and the patch looks droppable from based on the upstream change.
