Did you also check other packages in the archive that might drop in initramfs config snippets, and otherwise interact with the initramfs? Would they expect to have rust-coreutils in resolute's initramfs now, and be surprised by this change? Or maybe they have already workarounds specifically added because of rust-coreutils?
