** Description changed:
- tracking bug
 ## FFe ##

 [ Rationale ]
 * Merge target for stonking: 0.5.17-1ubuntu1, matching Debian unstable.
 * 0.5.16 fixes daily-driver bugs: Lua script crashes, monitor device
 activation, default node selection, state handling. 0.5.17 fixes a
 regression 0.5.16 introduced (object destruction via WpClientContext,
 #999). Staying on 0.5.15 ships those bugs all cycle.
 * Delta stays minimal: only the snapd permission prompting module
 (LP: #2144988), rediffed.

 [ Scope ]
 * Upstream 0.5.15 -> 0.5.17. Changelog diff attached. Highlights:
 - WpClientContext: media objects (loopback, filter-chain, LocalNode,
 SpaDevice) on a second PipeWire connection, so slow Lua hooks stop
 stalling their control path. Export core retired.
 - WpDynamicRules: matching rules with conditions. filter-graph graphs
 load/unload dynamically.
 - wpctl: new "list" and "reset" subcommands, "--yes" for reset.
 - Bluetooth monitor rewritten on event hooks (#916).
 - New WpPermissionManager and WpStateMetadata APIs.
 - 0.5.17: fixed factory-created device/node/link ownership regression
 (#999), default-nodes route ranking, better Lua POD errors.
 * Packaging:
 - 10 new symbols in libwireplumber-0.5-0. SONAME unchanged, additive
 only. No rdep rebuilds.
 - New Build-Dep: libsnapd-glib-dev (>= 1.72), already in main.
 - Allow lua5.5, matching Debian, now in main (LP: #2155757).
 * No reverse dependency builds against a changed ABI.

 seeded-in-ubuntu wireplumber:
 TODO(charles): seeded-in-ubuntu is currently returning 503's or hanging today.
 Will update when the infra is back.
 $ seeded-in-ubuntu wireplumber
 Issue fetching index file: HTTP Error 503: Service Unavailable
 Missing or empty index

 [ Regression Potential ]
 * WpClientContext moves media objects to a second connection and thread. If
 wrong: devices or filters fail to appear, loopback and filter-chain link
 failures, hangs on node creation. 0.5.17 already fixed the worst of it
(#999).
 This regression was the main reason 0.5.16 was not shipped.

 * Bluetooth monitor rewrite could break discovery or profile switching. Shows
as
 BT headsets missing or A2DP/HSP selection failing. Mitigation: I tested BT
 profile switching on my local hardware.

 * Permission-manager refactor could grant or deny access wrongly. Shows as
snap
 apps losing mic access when Permission Prompting is enabled. Mitigation:
 tested locally that Permission Prompting still works for Mic access.

 * Default-nodes ranking changes could pick the wrong device after reconnect.
 Mitigation: didn't notice any regressions in behaviour during local testing.

 * snapd permission prompting module is Ubuntu-specific, no-op unless apparmor
 prompting is enabled. Small blast radius.

 * Breaks other packages: no. No SONAME change, no rdep rebuilds.
 * Manual: device enumeration, default device switching, BT connect and

 permission prompting.

 [ Other Info ]
 * Merge from Debian unstable. Delta reduced to the snapd patch plus
 standard Ubuntu control changes.
 * FFE now avoids a bigger jump later in the cycle.
