Public bug reported: Binary package hint: gnome-mount
Since the introduction of gvfs, gnome-mount has become increasingly unreliable. I have upgraded my main pc to hardy for testing purposes. So I completely wiped my system did a standard install formating the entire drive. One thing I needed to do was copy my cd's back onto my machine. It's been doing this where I've noticed the issues. The copy process has locked. Cd's have locked up and I've had to reboot the machine in order to free the system back up. When I've got the disc to eject and put a new cd in I get the error message I will upload shortly. When I tried to copy the stuff off usb pen drive it has locked up about 2/3's of the way through (maybe 300 meg-ish). It stops there every time though (which it didn't when gnome-vfs was in place). No errors are produced it just stops transferring. To follow image of the error I get when inserting new cd. ** Affects: gnome-mount (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New -- gvfs/gnome mount issues with stability https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/185748 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is the bug contact for Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
