Public bug reported:
localsearch 3.12.0 adds a new libmediainfo extractor which can replace
ffmpeg/libav.
Please evaluate whether it makes sense to use it instead of
ffmpeg/libav.
Additionally, please evaluate whether Ubuntu can enable it by default.
localsearch 3.12.0 was uploaded to Debian Unstable today and will
automatically sync to Ubuntu 27.04.
