Hello, Quick update: I tested 7.0.0-38-generic on the same machine (Kubuntu 26.04, Radeon RX 9070 XT, dual monitor setup).
Previously: 7.0.0-27 shut down and rebooted fine, while 7.0.0-28 through 7.0.0-31 hung on poweroff/reboot. With 7.0.0-38, I've done one reboot and one poweroff so far, and both completed normally with no hang. That's only two tests, so it's too early to call it fixed, but it looks promising. I'll run more shutdown/reboot cycles and report back if I see the hang again. Thanks to everyone working on this.
