Another DA14250 here, on Ubuntu 26.04.1 with kernel 7.0.0-38-generic.
Two things to add.

1. The product name changed with the BIOS, so the patch in comment #14
misses newer firmware

- Comment #14 (BIOS 1.7.0) reports product_name "Dell 14 Premium DA14250".
- My machine on BIOS 1.9.1 (03/13/2026) reports "XPS 14 (Dell 14 Premium)
DA14250", product_sku 0CE5.
- The patch uses DMI_EXACT_MATCH on the old name, so it stops matching after a
BIOS update.
- One entry for each name would cover both. So would a partial match on
"DA14250".
- 7.0.0-38 has neither this model nor the DA16250 in its ipu-bridge list.
"strings" on ipu-bridge.ko shows only these Dell names:
  Dell Pro 14 Premium PA14260, XPS 13 9340, XPS 13 9350, XPS 14 9440, XPS 14
DA14260, XPS 16 9640.

2. A setup that works most of the time on 7.0.0-38, with the picture
upside down

- intel_cvs (package linux-main-modules-vision-7.0.0-38-generic) binds INTC10E0.
It logs a kernel warning at boot: kernel/irq/manage.c:1502 in __setup_irq,
called from cvs_common_probe.
- ov02c10 binds OVTI02C1. The kernel log says "Found supported sensor
OVTI02C1:00" and "Connected 1 cameras".
- The log still says "int3472-discrete INT3472:0c: GPIO type 0x02 unknown; the
sensor may not work".
  The sensor works anyway.
- libcamera 0.7.0 (simple pipeline, software ISP) gives a 1920x1080 picture,
turned 180 degrees.
- Until the kernel knows the sensor is upside down, I turn the picture myself
and feed a v4l2loopback device.
  I run this as root:

  gst-launch-1.0 libcamerasrc ! videoflip method=rotate-180 !
videoconvert ! video/x-raw,format=YUY2 ! v4l2sink device=/dev/video0

- Chrome and Firefox then read /dev/video0 as a normal 1920x1080 webcam
(v4l2loopback 0.15.3, exclusive_caps=1).
- It is not fully stable. A good stream start logs one "csi2-4 error" line from
intel_ipu6_isys.
2 of about 30 starts today gave no frames at all.
The kernel then logged thousands of "csi2-4 error: Incomplete long packet
detected" lines.
It also logged "intel-ipu6 0000:00:05.0: too many consecutive IRQs". Later
starts were fine again.

A note on which ov02c10 I run. It is the in-kernel one from linux-modules,
picked with a depmod override.
I have no clean comparison with the copy in linux-main-modules-ipu6, so I say
nothing about that one.
