Public bug reported:
Nautilus 50.2.2 on Ubuntu 26.04. When a file is created and then deleted
immediately after, Nautilus sometimes keeps showing it until F5 is
pressed. It happens in practice with gdk-pixbuf-glycin-tmp.XXXXXX files
in /tmp. Observed on two different systems.
Steps to reproduce:
1. Open a folder in Nautilus.
2. In a terminal in that folder, run:
for i in $(seq 50); do touch "test$i"; rm "test$i"; done
Expected: all deleted files disappear from the view.
Actual: some files remain until F5 or a folder reload. It does not happen with
all the files:
- On tmpfs (/tmp, /dev/shm), several ghost entries remain.
- On ext4, it seems that only one or two.
