The vapi is shipped in lightdm-vala, which isn't installed in the Ubuntu
builds. arctica-greeter Build-Depends on "lightdm-vala | liblightdm-
gobject-1-dev", and Ubuntu's liblightdm-gobject-dev (unlike Debian's)
has "Provides: liblightdm-gobject-1-dev". Since liblightdm-gobject-dev
is already pulled in by another build-dependency, that alternative is
satisfied and lightdm-vala is never installed. Debian's buildds only use
the first alternative, so they install lightdm-vala and the package
builds there.
Dropping the "| liblightdm-gobject-1-dev" alternative fixes the build of
0.99.9.4-1 in stonking (tests included). I'll upload that.
