**Additional test results** I performed an additional test after submitting this report.
With kernel `7.0.0-38-generic` and `amdgpu.dc=1`: * The system boots and the DisplayPort monitor works. * The Lenovo G27c-10 HDMI monitor remains undetected. * `/sys/class/drm/card1-HDMI-A-1/status` reports `disconnected`. * `/sys/class/drm/card1-HDMI-A-1/edid` contains 0 bytes. * Unplugging and reconnecting the HDMI cable does not restore detection. * No relevant HDMI, HPD, or EDID messages appear in the kernel journal. With kernel `6.8.0-146-generic` and `amdgpu.dc=0`, both monitors work correctly. These results further narrow the issue to HDMI connector detection under kernel 7.0. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/2170380 Title: [amdgpu] HDMI not detected on Radeon RX 570 with kernel 7.0.0-38-generic To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/linux/+bug/2170380/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
