Public bug reported: Hardware: ASUS System Product Name/TUF GAMING B850M-PLUS WIFI motherboard with built-in RTL8125 2.5GbE Controller (rev 0c) XID 688.
When /lib/firmware/rtl_nic/rtl8125d-1.fw.zst is available, I get ca. 40% packet loss at 2.5Gbps (1 Gbps works fine). When /lib/firmware/rtl_nic/rtl8125d-1.fw.zst is moved out of the way, and the firmware in ROM is used, 2.5Gbps works fine. Reported upstream to the Linux driver/firmware maintainer, no response so far: https://lore.kernel.org/camuhmdxpaehoeaqbm9rxbxukombfv+0k28n6srmw8xf8720...@mail.gmail.com Thanks!
