Public bug reported: Please remove swiftlang 6.2.3-1 (source and binaries) from stonking- proposed.
swiftlang 6.2.3-1 has been stuck in stonking-proposed for ~248 days: missing build on arm64 (libswiftlang, swiftlang from 6.1.3-4build1). Reached two conflicting assignments: 1. swiftlang-dev:arm64=6.2.3-1 is selected for install because: ... sbuild-build-depends-main-dummy:arm64 Depends swiftlang-dev 2. swiftlang-dev:arm64=6.2.3-1 Depends libswiftlang (>= 6.2.3-1) but none of the choices are installable: [no choices] swiftlang build-depends on itself (swiftlang (>= 6.1.3), swiftlang-dev). swiftlang-dev is arch:all; the 6.2.3-1 version was built on amd64 and is published in proposed, and it depends on libswiftlang (>= 6.2.3-1), which on arm64 can only come from this build. The resolver doesn't fall back to swiftlang-dev 6.1.3-4build1 from the release pocket, so the arm64 build is stuck as long as 6.2.3-1 is in proposed. Bootstrapping arm64 (PPA build against the release pocket and binary copy, or an upload adjusting the build-dependency) is too late in the cycle for a large compiler package. Debian also has an open serious FTBFS for this version (Debian #1143708). stonking release keeps swiftlang 6.1.3-4build1 (amd64, amd64v3, arm64). Nothing else in the archive depends or build-depends on swiftlang.
