An update is being prepared at https://salsa.debian.org/mariadb- team/mariadb-server/-/merge_requests/183 that extends the AppArmor profile. However `/var/log/mysql.err` is not included, as I think the path is actually `/var/log/mysql/mysql.err` and covered by the `/var/log/mysql/` rules.
