Using your new proposed version (#49) I put in a debugging line to echo the
sylpheed command to a file in /tmp, and copied this senddoc to
/usr/lib/libreoffice/program

I then ran LO from a terminal command line, and got the following output:
$ soffice FontSamples.odt

The 'Permission denied' lines are presumably the output from senddoc,
and presumably generated from apparmor ?

Incidentally, the 3 lines at the end of the DIFF --git output seem to be
at line 281 in your proposed version, rather than the line 308 indicated
in the diff output? - so perhaps there has been further change since
that DIFF was created?
