Not sure how I got on this bug, I think I reported a similar problem in gutsy for my nvidia 6150-based onboard graphics a while back. (is there any way to search for bugs marked a duplicate of this one?)
Either way, my card now shows up in restricted manager on Hardy (I'm updating daily). So, for my card, this bug is fixed.
