I wanted to comment that I still have this bug on Bazzite 44, but while
testing various configurations to make a detailed report I found that
the issue is fixed in Bazzite 45 (Testing), even though the kernel
version (7.2.11) and the Plasma version (6.7.5) didn't change...

Commenting this anyway because it may be useful for someone.

More details on how the bug reproduced on Bazzite 44:
- The setting of what to do when the laptop lid is closed doesn't matter. The
issues reproduces even with "Do Nothing".
- One thing to note is that normally, despite being "Do Nothing", closing the
lid still causes its screen still turns off (despite that supposedly being a
different option) and to make its touchpad and keyboard stop receiving input
(external devices still work, audio still plays, the OS is still functioning).
So, it's possible that this laptop is doing something weird. (This is still a
thing on Bazzite 45. Laptop is Lenovo IdeaPad 5 14ARE05.)
- Starting the shutdown while the laptop lid is already closed (by clicking
with an external device, or waiting the timer) reproduces the issue.
- The issue does not reproduce exactly the same. After reproducing, and after
opening the lid, the shutdown does not continue: it stays stuck on a black
screen where I can insert text (which does nothing). It does finish when
pressing the power button (showing the Plymouth animation).
- The issue does not reproduce with `systemctl poweroff` (also tested pressing
Enter while the lid is already closed)
