The error happened during a `do-release-upgrade -d` (so upgrading from 26.04 to 26.10).
I do have the firefox installed like described here: https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/install-firefox-linux#w_install- firefox-deb-package-for-debian-based-and-ubuntu-based-distributions- recommended And apparently the upgrader tried to install the snap anyway.
